Teagan, whose name means "little poet" in Gaelic, originally studied to be an opera singer after reading Gaston Leroux's 1911 novel "Phantom of the Opera" at the age of 11. She fell in love with the novel and it was her first all-nighter read. Teagan is an amateur freediver with a breath holding record of 3.5 minutes. Because of this record she used to be a mermaid at children's parties. She has a beloved hellhound named Sedona, and is also raising 3 jumping spiders named Anathema, Banshee, and Shelly (after Mary Shelly).
